150 Tons Seamless Steel Pipes Shipped to Venezuela on April 8th
Great news! Baowu Special steel’s first bulk shipment to South America in 2024 just departed from Tianjin port on the 8th of April, loading a whopping 150 tons seamless steel pipes. This shipment will have a very long journey by crossing the vast Pacific Ocean before landing on the South American continent by the end of May in Venezuela!
Located 10 thousands miles away, Venezuela is undoubtedly one of the farthest cargo destinations of Baowu Special steel. Despite that, many South American countries including Venezuela still see China as one of the favorable places to seek steel goods to maximize their own interests. The continental territory of the country is bordered on the north by the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Colombia, Brazil on the south, Trinidad and Tobago to the north-east and on the east by Guyana. Venezuela's light industry is relatively developed. Since the 1970s, it has focused on the development of steel, petrochemicals, aluminum smelting and other industries. The chemical composition of A252 steel pipe mainly consists of iron, carbon, silicon, manganese and other elements, of which the carbon content is low, only about 0.2%.
