Project Story
The Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the exhibition new city area of Fuyong Street, Bao'an District, Shenzhen. It is located at the bay top of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, the center of the Pearl River Delta, and the center of the Guangdong Free Trade Zone. It is also the intersection of the core development corridor of Guangzhou Shenzhen Hong Kong and the east-west development corridor, and the intersection of the three major urban circles of Guangzhou Foshan Zhao, Shenzhen Dongguan Hui, and the Pearl River. It is one of the three main buildings laid out by the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Government for the "two centers and one hall" of Shenzhen Airport New City, The plan focuses on exhibitions as the core driving force and strategic nodes, combined with regional transportation hubs such as airports and railways, to develop functional formats and industrial clusters closely related to exhibition commerce, innovative research and development, international logistics, and airport economy, leading the development of airport new cities.
The Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center covers a total area of approximately 1.48 million square meters. After completion, the total indoor exhibition area will reach 500000 square meters. The first phase of the project will have a construction land of approximately 1.2142 million square meters, with a total construction area of 1.605 million square meters and an indoor exhibition area of 400000 square meters. The total investment in the first phase and surrounding supporting facilities will reach 86.7 billion yuan. The Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center project is located in the Greater Airport New City area, and the International Convention Center and New Technology Museum will also be constructed in this area.
